GroveRex Health
and
Lifetime Support Guarantee
At GroveRex, the health and well-being of every kitten is my highest priority. I take great care in selecting breeding cats, providing excellent prenatal and kitten care, and raising each kitten in a loving home environment. While no breeder can guarantee a living animal will never become ill, I am committed to giving every GroveRex kitten the healthiest possible start in life and to supporting the families who welcome them home.
Before Your Kitten Goes Home
Every GroveRex kitten will:
-
Receive age-appropriate vaccinations and preventative care as recommended by my veterinarian.
-
Be healthy and thriving to the best of my knowledge at the time of placement.
-
Be well socialized and raised in my home.
-
Leave with a complete health record and care information.
-
Leave with a TICA breeder slip, allowing you to register your kitten in your name.
-
Leave with care information to help make the transition to their new home as smooth as possible.
New Home Veterinary Exam
I ask that all new owners schedule a wellness examination with their veterinarian within 72 hours of bringing their kitten home.
This visit helps establish care with your veterinarian and confirms your kitten arrived in good health.
If your veterinarian identifies a serious medical condition that was present prior to leaving GroveRex, please contact me immediately. I will work closely with you and your veterinarian to determine an appropriate resolution.
Lifetime Breeder Support
Bringing home a kitten is just the beginning of our relationship.
Whether you have questions about nutrition, behavior, grooming, health, or simply want to share photos and updates, I am always happy to help. One of the greatest joys of breeding is watching my kittens grow up with their families, and I consider it a privilege to remain a resource throughout your cat’s life.
Lifetime Return Policy
A GroveRex kitten will always have a home with me.
If, for any reason and at any point in your cat’s life, you are no longer able to care for them, I ask that you contact me before considering surrendering or rehoming them. I will gladly help find the best solution to ensure every GroveRex cat remains safe, loved, and well cared for.
What This Guarantee Does Not Cover
This guarantee does not cover illnesses or injuries that occur after your kitten leaves GroveRex due to accidents, exposure to contagious diseases, parasites acquired after placement, improper nutrition, lack of routine veterinary care, or other environmental factors outside my control.
My goal is not simply to provide healthy kittens—it is to raise healthy, well-adjusted companions and support the families who love them for years to come.
Your Role in a Healthy Transition
Moving to a new home is an exciting milestone, but it can also be a stressful experience for a young kitten. Even healthy kittens can experience temporary stress as they adjust to new surroundings, people, and routines. Following these recommendations will help your kitten settle in safely and comfortably.
I recommend that you:
● Schedule your kitten’s wellness examination within 72 hours of bringing them home.
● Keep your kitten indoors at all times.
● Begin in a quiet room before gradually introducing them to the rest of your home.
● If you have resident pets, introduce them slowly and, whenever possible, keep your new kitten separated for approximately two weeks. This helps reduce stress and minimizes the risk of disease transmission in either direction.
● Transition to any new food gradually over 7–10 days unless otherwise directed by your veterinarian.
● Contact me with any questions or concerns. I am always happy to help.
